Fighting-Hitmonlee
Grass-Tangela or Venusaur
Electric-Jolteon
Ice- Cloyster
Water-Blastoise
Poison- Gengar
Ground- Dugtrio
Bug- Scyther
Rock- Golem
Flying- Aerodactyl
Psychic-Mewtwo
Normal- Tauros/ Snorlax

This is my opinion with some research. I know these are a bit unexpected Pokemon but they are good.

Fire-charizard/Arcanine
Water-Blastiose/dewgong
Tthunder-jolteon/Magneton
Normal-snorlax/persian
Ghost-gengar
Physic-mew/mewtwo if you can't get them then Alakazam
Bug-scyther/ pinsir
Ice-cloyster/ vaporeon
Rock-rydon
Ground-dugtrio or onix
Dragon-dragonite/aerodactyle
Flying-legendary bird Pokemon/pidgeot
Fossil Pokemon-kabutops

There is really no ( best ) Poke'mon for each type. It depends on how you raise a poke'mon and the attacks you teach a poke'mon ( at least in opionion. )

Everyone has their own opinions. My advise is to try them all.

Normal = snorlax or eevee
Fire = charizard
Water = gyarados or lapras
Grass = victreebel
Electric = jolteon
Ice = dewgong
Fighting = hitmonchan
Poison = weezing
Ground = rhydon
Flying = aerodactyl
Psychic = Mew or mewtwo
Bug = scyther
Rock = golem
Ghost = gengar
Dragon = dragonite
Thats jus my opinion but I hope this helps :D
