Date of Question: Jul 4 2009 | Question ID: 143777 Ok I just started a new game and chose charmander. Im on route 22 and I can't find a mankey for the firs gym and my butterfree didnt learn confusion when it evolved..is my red version corrupted or wut? |

Based on what you said, you're game is messed up.
It's not corrupted, but I believe it's actually a fake game.
If you got it online, demand a refund or something of the sort.
If you got it from a store, confront them as well.
I'm sorry to say that I don't believe your game can be fixed.

By the sounds of things I think you bought a gimped version,I recommend returning it in for another fire red version
