The internal battery has died in my Crystal Version; however, I have just kept it on and plugged in. I still cannot save but as long as I don't shut off the game works perfectly. I am wondering if I will be able to defeat the Elite Four without losing my save file. I know that after facing the champion and viewing the credits the game does return to the main menu, but it never shuts off. Will the save still be there because I never actually power off? Thank you!
