Celebi

Does anyone know how to get Celebi? I got all 26 of the unknowns. But Prof won't give me the GS Ball. What do I have to do?

Ah, you see, if I remember correctly, they took out the Celebi event. They decided to get rid of it for some unknown reason, and the only thing that is left there in it's place is the shrine. If you are playing the North American version of Pokemon Crystal, then that is why you cannot get the Celebi event completed. If you are playing a different version, then I do not know what to tell you.

Celebi can only be caught in the japanese version of the game. For some reason, none of the english versions of Pokemon have celebi, not even ruby/sapphire/emerald/fire red/leaf green (not sure about diamond/pearl). The only way you can get it is with a gameshark or have someone with a gameshark trade it to you (which is how I got one)
