My crystal version keeps reseting my saved files to a new game! What do I do to make it stop?

Alright, I figured out that since you have obviously asked the same question in every Pokemon game question&answer section, that you do not have all the games. You are only asking the question everywhere so that you will get more than one answer. Well, do not do that, just ask a question for the correct game. Which is it, which game is messing up? Pokemon Red, Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon crystal, what?
Can you actually tell us which version it is, then we can help you. Till then, all we can do is guess.

The same thing happened to me on silver, the battery in your game died so you will either change the battery or buy another one
