Time of day

For some reason, on my crystal version,the time of day has stopped changing when I turn it off. If I turn it of at 2pm, when I turn it back on, it will still be 2pm. The time only changes when I'm actually playing it. None of my other games do this, is there any way to change it? I want to do the bug catching contest and get balls from kurt but I cant. Please help.

Have you actually set the clock of the game? If you have not yet set the clock, then the game will not know what time it is until you turn Gameboy on. I really do not know what to tell you, maybe you should try making a new saved file or something to see if it works on a new file. It could just be that the Pokemon Crystal cartridge is having some problems, or it's broken somehow. I cannot really say what is wrong with it. You could also try getting the came looked at. Hope this helps. :)

If you have the actual cartridge, then maybe you should try reseting the game. If that fails, just get a refund. If you are using a rom, then the time wont work automatically.
