Regenerate:

One of the most overlooked upgrade options in the game for what seems to be a rather small (insignificant) figure of regeneration. Although in reality, this passive upgrade alone can turn your game from losing it to actually winning it. For instance, the first upgrade which endows you 1% regen per second, if your unit has 1500 HP for example, you get 15 HP regen per second. This is also then multiplied as you enable time speed increase. If for instance you are at 5x the normal speed, you multiply 15 x5 which gives you 75 HP to that unit every passing second. Now if you unlocked the 5% rate, you can only imagine how a fully upgraded “Chainsaw recruit” standing on a 50% protection, fully upgraded slot take on a horde of Zombies all by himself without even dropping below 50% of his HP for the whole wave.
