Legendary Creation Trio: Dialga, Palkia, Giratina

The second Legendary Trio was the Creation Trio, and they also were the covers of the three Fourth Generation Games of Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The Pokemon apart of this trio are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, three of the most powerful Dragon Pokemon in Existence.

The story goes that when Arceus, the Pokemon God, was born from its egg, it created Dialga, Palkia, and Girtina, each to rule over one part of the universe. Dialga controlled Time, Palkia controlled Space, and Giratina the Antimatter of the Distortion World. The three were also made to rule over separate areas since they can't stand the others and often are found fighting each other in the others territory. This was why Arceus also created the Lake Guardians, to make sure things didn't get too out of hand with said trio.

Giratina has two forms - it normal and altered form - both of which are more defensive than the other two dragons of this trio. Dialga and Palkia have virtually the same stats (though Dialga is part Steel and Palkia is part water), but Palkia has a little more speed while Dialga has a tad more bulk.

#483 - Dialga: Dialga can be found on Spear Pillar in both Pokemon Diamond and Platinum (you must have its orb in Platinum to find it there), as well as the Shinto Ruins in both Heart Gold and Soul Silver (must have Event Arceus to find it here too). From there, it can be found by soaring in the sky in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

#484 - Palkia: Palkia on the other hand can be found on Spear Pillar in pearl and Platinum, also needing its orb to be found there in Platinum. It can also be found in the Shinto Ruins in Heart Gold and Soul Silver if you bring an Event Arceus with you. And it can even be found by soaring in the sky, but in Omega Ruby.

#487 - Giratina: Unlike the other two, Giratina can be found in all the Sinnoh Games: Turnback Cave in Diamond and Pearl, and the Distortion World in Platinum. But it can also be found in the Shinto Ruins in the second generation remakes if you bring the Arceus there. It can even be found in both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire while soaring in the sky, but only if you have both Dialga and Palkia in your Party.
