The Title of Faller

Details: After catching the fourth Ultra Beast Species, you need to report back to Looker on the situation. He will inform you that Wicke now has the information on yet another Ultra Beast Species thanks to your help, before telling you some very interesting information.

Looker goes on to explain that about ten years before, he and Nanu were actually working on an operation, one that began the hunting of Ultra Beasts. They had a third person to their team, one with the title of a "Faller." These are people that have either traveled through a wormhole or have the same aura and presence as such. Looker also hints, as well as Nanu, that something happened to the Faller on that situation, but not going so far to go into grave detail.

The two then tell you how Anabel is a Faller too, having arrived in Alola after having lost her memory from being pulled through an Ultra Wormhole and having spent an extended period of Time in Ultra Space. This easily explains how Anabel, who is believed to have once been apart of the Hoenn Battle Frontier, got to where she is now and yet is still a fierce trainer. Consequently, it also sort of explains how and why Looker had amnesia and was found back on the beach of Hoenn where the Battle Frontier would later come.

Perhaps Looker, after whatever happened to the original Faller on his first squad, also came too close to an Ultra Wormhole, and he himself was pulled through. Just maybe, Looker is a Faller too, later regaining memory of his true identity and life's work apart of The International Police. Who knows, perhaps even his old friend Nanu helped him do that very thing.

Whatever the case, Anabel is surely a Faller, and it's one of the main reason she's on the task force. Looker probably is also one, or at least one previously, explaining why he too has a role on the team. And let's not forget about your player, who is now a Faller too after helping Lillie and saving her mother with the Mascot Legend.

There is still much speculation, but each and every member of the UB Taskforce looks to be a Faller in their own right.
