One of the strangest In-Game Events for any Pokemon Game thus far can be found in the Seventh Generation, in both Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon. This takes place deep within the Haina Desert on Ula'ula Island, where a strange elderly man is standing by a random bush in an otherwise empty area of this location.
In Pokemon Sun, he begins to babble about a Pokemon with the first letter of "Sol"; in Pokemon Moon the Pokemon he is describing begins with the letters "Lun". If you take either Solgaleo (Sun) or Lunala (Moon) to him after catching it, he will inform you that wasn't the Pokemon he was referring to.
But in you bring him either a Solrock (Sun) or Lunatone (Moon) - only can be done after the activation of Poke Bank - he will tell you that that was the Pokemon he was looking for. Instantly his memory will be restored, and then he'll give you a gift of the Sun Stone (Sun) or the Moon Stone (Moon). And then he'll literally beam up to space. Yeah...
Many players are baffled by this, much like the Ghost Girl of Pokemon X & Y, but many suspect this could be a hint to a possible sequel game to Sun & Moon. That is, if one will even be made for it.
