The Statue of Power is a statue with the likeness of Anubis, one of the pals that you can capture in the game. Aside from looking like a cool piece for your base, the Statue also has practical uses in the form of permanent boosts to your character and selected pals. In this article, we will discuss what the Statue of Power is and how to take advantage of its functions.
The Statue of Power allows you to offer special items as offerings to permanently enhance your players and pals, as displayed in the table below.
Offering | Effect |
---|---|
Lifmunk Effigies | Increase your character's base Capture Rate. |
Pal Souls | Increase the HP, ATK, DEF, and Work Speed of any Pal for up to 30% |
These are green collectibles scattered around the vast map that you can offer in the Statue of Power to increase your character's base Capture Rate. This upgrade is a permanent enhancement so try to obtain effigies whenever you can.
You need a total of 173 effigies to raise your base Capture Rate to LV10 and there are more than enough that you can find in the map. However, it is highly possible that these effigies might be used for something else in the future updates of the game so even if you already maxed out the capture level, try collecting these effigies whenever you can.
Capture Level | Effigies Required |
---|---|
LV 1 | 1 |
LV 2 | 4 |
LV 3 | 7 |
LV 4 | 11 |
LV 5 | 15 |
LV 6 | 19 |
LV 7 | 23 |
LV 8 | 27 |
LV 9 | 31 |
LV 10 | 35 |
Being collectibles, effigies can be spotted easily in the open or edge of cliffs though some are tucked and hidden between tight crevices, rock walls, alcoves, and caves. The best and easiest way of spotting these effigies are during dusk and evening since you can easily spot their bright green glow even at a distance. Having a fast flying Mount will extensively make effigy collecting a lot manageable and rewarding.
Pal Souls are needed to increase a pal's stats (HP, ATK, DEF, Work Speed). There are three types of Pal Souls that you can collect: Small, Medium, and Large. The type of souls needed will differ from each level range, as shown in the table below. Each level upgraded will increase the pal's stats by 3%, up to a maximum of 30%.
There is no consistent method of farming or reliably obtaining Pal Souls as of the moment. However, these are known methods of collecting Pal Souls from various sources:
Level Increase | Pal Souls Needed |
---|---|
1 | x1 Small Soul |
2 | x2 Small Souls |
3 | x3 Small Souls |
4 | x4 Small Souls |
5 | x1 Medium Soul |
6 | x2 Medium Souls |
7 | x3 Medium Souls |
8 | x1 Large Soul |
9 | x2 Large Souls |
10 | x3 Large Souls |
If you change your mind, you can reset the pal's stats by paying gold. The higher upgrade level, the more costly it is to reset. For reference, resetting a LV10 upgrade will cost 298000 Gold. Unfortunately, there is no way of resetting a stat only. You'll only have access to the full skill reset so if your pal has more upgraded stats, the cost will be higher.
Upgrading your pal's stats should be a careful decision, especially if you're trying to avoid wasting precious pal souls or gold for resetting. Avoid upgrading your pal stats early on and try saving it to a pal that you'll be using often such as a "perfect" pal with top-tier Passives that you've hatched through selective Breeding or alpha pals that you have captured that came with great passives.
You can build the statue quite early in the game. It is unlockable at Technology LV6 and will only require 20 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments. However, it's actual use can't be taken advantage of until you're able to freely collect effigies or have access to good pals to upgrade. Until then, I suggest storing the souls until you need them or building the statue once you have enough effigies to upgrade your Capture Rate.
Aside from the statues that you can build in your base, you can also find Statues of Power inside the ruins of churches scattered across the land. The function of the statue remain the same and will keep track of your pal and Capture Rate upgrade levels as if it was a statue you built.
