After using Ancient Technology Points to unlock various Ancient Technology structures and items, you now have to build or craft them. In this page, we will provide the recipes for each technology, provide a brief explanation on their use, and of course, some pointers on where to get certain materials.
To summarize, these are all the Ancient Technology structures and items that you can produce currently:
Technology Level | Ancient Technology |
---|---|
7 | Egg Incubator |
10 | Small Feed Bag |
12 | Grappling Gun |
14 | Pal Essence Condenser |
17 | Mega Grappling Gun |
20 | Average Feed Bag |
22 | Hip Lantern |
26 | Large Feed Bag |
29 | Single-Shot Sphere Launcher |
32 | Giga Grappling Gun |
35 | Huge Feed Bag |
38 | Scatter Sphere Launcher |
40 | Lily's Spear |
42 | Decal Gun Set |
45 | Giant Feed Bag |
47 | Hyper Grappling Gun |
50 | Homing Sphere Launcher |
Another thing to note is that all Ancient Technology items and structures require Ancient Civilization Parts. We have discussed how to farm these materials reliably in our guide.
As the name suggests, this is where you can place eggs that you find in the wild or obtained from Breeding Pals. You can only place one egg on each incubator but you can build multiple incubators should you want to. Incubators can be placed near heat sources such as campfires, heaters, and electric heaters to speed up the incubation process.
There are some eggs however, that won't gain bonuses from additional heating. If you take a closer look at the individual eggs, the game will tell you if the temperature if favorable for the egg or not.
When placing heat sources, take note that you can't stack the effects of the same heat source on a single egg. For example, surrounding an egg with several campfires won't improve the hatching speed. The proper way to do it is to place an egg near a campfire, a heater, and an electric heater to get the most out of their effects. You can also surround a single campfire with multiple incubators (like how I did it below) and all of them will gain the hatching speed bonus equally.

10 Palladium Fragment | 5 Cloth | 30 Stone | 2 Ancient Civilization Parts | N/A |
This unlocks one of the food slots carried by your character. Food placed in these slots will be automatically consumed by your character and the pals in your party. Take note however that food can still expire even when placed in these slots and these food will still take up weight. If you have turned off the hunger option for your character and pals in your world settings, then there's no need to craft this item.
Feed Bags are considered Key Items so you only need to craft one copy to unlock a Food Slot. You can have up to five food slots though usually, carrying one type of food but in large volumes should be enough to satiate the hunger of your character and the pals in your party.

This cool and useful gadget can help you with traversing terrains with different elevations in case you don't have a flying Mount yet. In case you're over encumbered (overloaded) with stuff, (which will happen usually when moving bases), you can use the grappling gun to cover a large distance quickly even when you exceed your carrying limit.
Better versions of the grappling gun will have quicker reloading times which will allow you to use them more frequently. Grappling guns don't need to be repaired nor use any type of ammo.

10 Paldium Fragment | 10 Ingot | 30 Fiber | 1 Ancient Civilization Part | N/A |
This structure allows you to strengthen a pal by "feeding" it with essences of sacrificed pals of the same species to it. You can turn Pals of any level or status as essences as long as they're the same species as the selected Pal that you want to enhance. Pals that are used as essences are permanently removed from your palbox. This makes condensing Pals a great method of organizing and maintaining the number of Pals you have while also improving your top-tier Pals at the same time.
By increasing a Pal's star, you'll permanently improve their Max HP, Attack, Defense, partner skill, and when fully enhancing it (4 stars), will also improve their Work Suitability levels. The number of Pals you need to sacrifice to become essences will increase per level, as follows:
1-star: 4 Pals
2-star: 16 Pals
3-star: 32 Pals
4-star: 64 Pals
Common starter pals like Lamball, Chikipi, and Cattiva can be easily caught so you can reliably increase their stars by catching them. For more advanced and rarer pals, the only reliable way of collecting multiple pals of the same species is through Breeding.

Improved version of the grappling gun. Exactly the same function and features, but with quicker cooldown.

20 Paldium Fragment | 20 Ingot | 50 Fiber | 4 Ancient Civilization Parts | N/A |
Unlocks the second food slot for your character.

Nighttime in the game is extremely dark and disorienting. Same as when exploring mines or dungeons. Normally, you'll need to hold a torch to illuminate your immediate surroundings. Just craft this lantern and it will automatically light up in dark places or at nighttime, eliminating the need of a torch or holding it manually to provide light. This is a must-have and since this is a key item, you only need to build one.

Unlocks the third food slot for your character.

You're probably used to throwing Pal Spheres using pure arm strength but that can only go so far. This non-lethal weapon fires spheres that are currently increased into a straight line instead of an arc, with a better distance. This is a great pal capture tool especially when you're mounted.

30 Wood | 90 Fiber | 35 Leather | 10 Carbon Fiber | N/A |
This sphere launcher fires several spheres at once, great for capturing herds of pals. The success rate of capturing them is a different matter.

50 Refined Ingot | 15 Polymer | 50 Paldium Fragment | 30 Carbon Fiber | 10 Ancient Civilization Parts |
Currently the game's top-tier spear. Can also reliably used for gathering wood or mine but I would advise against that since the eventual repair cost will be impractical and costly.
Material 1 | Material 2 | Material 3 | Material 4 | Material 5 |
20 Paldium Fragment | 30 Refined Ingot | 20 High Quality Cloth | 50 Wood | 20 Ancient Civilization Parts |
Enables you to craft guns and their respective ammo that paints specific pal decals on walls or ceilings. These decals are not permanent and will disappear after a few seconds. There is no practical use for this unless you want to have brief "fun" with friends and guildmates. If you're just playing solo, you can skip this one unless you really want to spend Ancient Technology points.

30 Ingot | 10 Polymer | 15 Paldium Fragment | 3 Ancient Civilization Parts | N/A |
Unlocks the fifth food slot for your character.

This sphere launcher can reliably track and home in on targets. Perfect for pesky pals that you want to capture that loves to move around.
