Replace 5 books. First by door. Second use broom to sweep out cobweb. Third fix pet tunnel and use. Fourth build cart. Fifth open puzzle cabinet and shoot glass. Move glass over record player jump on beds and destroy everything to get parts to build stove in Gryffindor Dorm then shoot it.

Have been trying to get gold brick from the one of the two charms rooms, but gold brick is nowhere. I tried what was said above, but nothing. My gold brick detector won't work in that room either. Is it a game or disk glitch? Or am I doing something wrong? I just need this one brick to finish the game.

I'm having the same freaking problem that I've read already posted here. When I found my 200th gold brick it flashed 200/200 on my screen and as soon as I paused the game it read 199/200. Is re-playing it the only option? Because if so forget it, keep your fountain, what else can you buy anyway. I've played and completed 100% on every lego game they've made, ever. They started out fun for little kids and parents, but they've become frustrating and children can't figure them out. This one glitch makes the entire game suck. I hope a better job is done when they hop on the new star wars films.
I just finished Lego City and I was stuck at 999,980 for the longest time. I went over to the little house (hut) in back by the R/R tracks and there is a red Lever I had to jump on that finished me off. But I am still stuck at 199 bricks and 59 Students in Peril and cant find the bugger.
where is the Lobby?
I just got the 200 gold brick but the game did not register it. When I went to the room with the projector to build, it said 199/200. What do you do then?
How do you know which ones you haven't already collected?
First off did you do the bonus level in borgin and burks? Doing this level will give you a gold brick also make sure that you buy all the gold bricks in borgin and burks as this will also help you to get the 200 gold bricks.
we have just completed lego harry potter years 5-7 on the Wii but it shows only 199/200 for the gold bricks. We have used your list to double check that we have collected all 200 and we have but its still showing 199, my daughter is very dissappointed what do we do???
I had 199 gold bricks, found the last one so it ticked over to 200 but now when I look at my inventory it's back to saying I only have 199. I checked back at where I found the last brick in case it just didn't save somehow but it's not there anymore. What am I supposed to do now?
If your stuck at 99.9% check the characters again and make sure you have bought them all, i had one ghost left that i hadnt bought yet. That gave me 100%.
Is there a build mode like in Indiana Jones 2 that you need
