Headers

These are what makes the general class of harvester so dynamically useful to you as a farmer... The special headers are used for specific crops - or rather the general type of header is used for most grain crops, while crops like corn and hay have specialized headers.

If you look at the listings in the Vehicle Shop you will see that the largest variety of general headers support the harvesting of Wheat, Canola (Rape) and Barley, while Corn has its own special subset. Krone also manufactures a special type of header that can handle the three grains AND hay. as well as a hay-specific model.

Notes: Pay attention to two things when you are contemplating purchase of additional headers or to outfit a new Harvester - the Headers are Harvester-Specific! That is to say that they will NOT work with just any old Harvester, so be SURE to check the Suitability BEFORE you buy.

Second, the width makes a BIG difference in performance. Right now for the console versions of the game we do not have as much choice in terms of attachments as the PC version does but eventually they will be adding more (as paid DLC content) and when that happens, you will have some choices in width.
