Auger Wagons

Auger Wagons (aka Chaser Bins) are trailers that have their own screw conveyer. You can use it to store your crop and directly unload it into other trailers.

When you finally reach a point where you have a larger set of fields - and especially when the fields are separated by distance - it may be time for you to start thinking about incorporating an Auger Wagon into your farming kit. Why? Simple really!

What an Auger Wagon does is deliver two capabilities to you - the first is the ability to contain a large amount of crop production - the Horsch Titan 34 UM (which was the only AW in the base game when it released - there may be additional models added as paid DLC later) - could hold 34,000 L.

That basically means that you can use it to hold and haul the production from a satellite field, and then thanks to its on-board power and built-in screw conveyor, use it to offload its contents (or just some of its contents) into the smaller capacity Tippers you use for delivering fruit to the buyers or transferring it to your Silo storage.

Most farmers who are operating satellite fields make use of the Auger Wagon by pre-positioning it at a central location for the satellite farm and then make use of it as a portable silo.

That way you can store the crop until you are ready to transfer or sell it, then offload it into your tipper or tipper train...
