Case #3: The Missing Mask

After receiving the Book from the Usual Frillish, Tim and Pikachu will realize that the Prime Treasure Show that is happening soon on the Ship is actually an Auction. They will be able to tell this simply by the book they receive, as it's actually an catalog for the auction about to take place. On top of the mask Rose found within the suitcase in her room, the Substance known as R is also set to be sold during the auction. On top of this, the two also learn the event is semi-formal, forcing them to Find something for Tim to wear to it.

As the duo tries to figure this out while heading to the bridge on the boat, they will learn that the mask Rose originally found has now suddenly gone missing. Of course, you will be forced to investigate this Case before being able to attend the Auction. By obtaining more Eyewitness accounts, you will learn from Nosepass that the mask suddenly vanished within a blink of an eye. By talking to the various crew members on board that happened to enter the room with the mask in it, it will appear more and more like Gino was involved in the crime.

However, that is until you run into Snubbull on your way to questioning Gino, as it will inform you that it saw an invisible Pokemon having a drink earlier. Because of this, Gino will insist that he is innocent from such a crime. With all of these conflicting reports, you will need to talk with the Brionne on board the Ship, as it will tell you that Pokemon suddenly appeared in one of its bubbles, one that wasn't originally found within it when it was first created. With this bit of information, Pikachu determines that an invisible Pokemon must be somewhere on the ship.

With this in mind, you will then need to head to Emilia in order to Find out if she knows of any possible Pokemon of the sorts. By chatting with Emilia, you will learn that a Pokemon has the ability to do this, and that Pokemon is none other than Kecleon. Believe it or not, you will also learn that a Kecleon is found on the Ship, and it belongs to none other than Gino himself. After solving the Case, Tim gathers everyone together in order to point out that Gino and his Kecleon are the culprits.

Apparently, Gino was having trouble recreating the Henry Brothers Lost Recipes. Because of this, Gino was looking to buy the Henry Brothers Recipe Book, which just so happened was also an item that was going up for Auction. In order to better his chances of being able to afford and obtain the Recipe Book from the upcoming Secret auction, Gino decided to steal the mask that Rose suddenly found to better his odds. With the Case now solved and culprit apprehended, Tim and Pikachu now look toward attending the auction in hopes of finding Keith and the supply of R, first by finding Tim something a Little more formal to wear.
