Case #1: Where Has Purugly Gone?

The following day after visiting Fine Park, Tim and Pikachu will head to GNN, taking up on the invitation they received from Roger the prior day. Once there, Emilia and Meiko will tell Tim and Pikachu that Roger would actually like to say hello. When you come to Roger, you will also meet Ethan Graham, the president of GNN. While you do, Meiko will head off to try and Find the Footage they have on Fine Park in their archives. After meeting with both Roger and Ethan, since Meiko has yet to return, Tim and Pikachu will be offered a Tour of the News Station.

Sitting on the couch not to far from Ethan Graham is Max Warhol, apparently a famous comedian. By talking to him, you will be introduced to his Chatot, the same he performs a number of his acts with. After seeing how Chatot can mimic the voices it hears, Max will give Tim an autograph. From there, you will be able to Find Yanma flying around with video cameras. After you do, you will be introduced to the assistant director at GNN, Keith. By talking to Keith, you will learn that Yanma helps the camera crew when filming. While talking with him, Olga Elison, the music critic, will come and mention how she can't find her Purugly.

After she storms off, head back to Roger to receive an offer to check out the Yanma Cameras for yourself. In order to do this, head to the Sub Control Room and meet Hiro and Hoothoot. After this, Tim will be shown the ropes on how to use the Yanma Cameras. Once you have the Controls down pat, you will then film a scene with Pikachu from several angles. Once you have, head back to Studio 1 and chat with Pikachu. As you do, Olga will again appear and say she can't Find her Purguly. Ethan will step in, and ultimately, Tim and Pikachu will be asked to investigate.

By talking with all of the Pokemon and people found within GNN, you will eventually Find Purugly within Magnemite's cage found in one of the dressing rooms. Once you have found Purugly, you will then be tasked with finding where Magnemite went off to. In order to find Magnemite, you will have to talk with Hiro and learn about the interference he has been receiving. Using Yanma, you will then be able to see what area is picking up the most interference, as this is where Magnemite will be found. After finding both Purugly and Magnemite, your Tour of GNN will End and Rehearsal will begin.
