Completing missions is an integral part of Deep Rock Galactic. Aside from the neverending grind and missions, your progression as a dwarf will depend on the Assignments you complete. Each dwarf class has a couple of locked weapons that they can only use after completing Weapon License Assignments. In this page, we will discuss the various Weapon License assignments for each dwarf.

Weapon License Course
As an interplanetary mining conglomerate, DRG believes our employees should have access to a diverse array of the very best tools with which to accomplish the tasks set before them. Through your hard work and diligent efforts, you have been deemed a likely candidate for an upgrade to your weapons license.
Completing this short training course will ascertain this for certain and unlock the weapon for purchase at the Equipment Station.


Each dwarf can unlock two weapons after completing these license assignments: one primary, and one sidearm. These license assignments will only become available after reaching LV10 and LV15 respectively. After getting the license, you’ll be able to purchase and modify the unlocked weapon in the Equipment Station terminal.

Each Assignment will contain 3 missions with fixed Mission Types. Like other assignments, you can host a mission or join a public session if you see one available.

"Thunderhead" Heavy Autocannon (Gunner)


Requires: Gunner LV10
