Added:

Completing missions is an integral part of Deep Rock Galactic. Aside from the neverending grind and missions, your dwarf can also increase in level and rank, eventually getting a chance to be promoted - giving access to more features and missions. In this page, we will discuss the Promotion process.

There are only two requirements to promote a dwarf:

* Any dwarf class reaches LV25 (max level)

* Completing all the prerequisite Promotion Assignments (please refer to our dedicated Promotion Assignments page)

Once you have met the requirements, you’ll need to go to the Memorial Hall in your Space Rig. From there, you’ll have to interact with the Promotion terminal in the far end of the hall. To complete the Promotion process, you’ll have to pay the required amount of credits and materials.

After promoting a class, your dwarf will get the following bonuses:

* Level will be reset bank to LV1, and player rank will increase for Prestige Assignments. (You will keep all progress on your weapons, Perks, crafting materials, and vanity items)

* 1 Honor Badge

* +1 Active Perk Slot (applicable once per class)

* You can now trigger Machine Events using the Tritilyte Key for all classes.

* Breach The Core and Weekly Core Hunt assignments unlocked.

* The Forge unlocked.

* Deep Dives unlocked.

You can promote a dwarf over and over again. However, there are really no game-changing benefits after the first promotion. For each promotion, a star in the Honor Badge will be added. After getting 3 stars (3 promotions), the Honor Badge will be upgraded, with the border changing color and the stars reset back to one.

In simpler terms, your first promotion is Bronze I. Promote two more times and your honor Badge will be Bronze III (3 stars). Promote once again and you’ll become Silver I, and so on. This can go one until a player reaches Legendary III, which will take a player a total of 18 promotions.

That concludes our quick guide about the Promotion process in Deep Rock Galactic. The game is ideally enjoyed when played online via multiplayer, especially with friends. This will make your progression in the game much bearable and faster. Please check out our other helpful topics for this game in this guide.
