Toughest Battles In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Gladion Pokemon League Battle

Back in Pokemon Sun & Moon, Gladion stuck back to fix the Aether Foundation as Lillie headed off to the Kanto Region in hopes of being able to heal their mother with the help of Bill during the Post Game. Because of this, Gladion had the chance at being one of your challengers whenever you would rematch the Pokemon League. In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the roles are almost reversed during the Post Game, with Lillie staying The Alola Region since their mother never became one with an Ultra Beast and Gladion heading off to the Kanto Region in hopes of becoming as strong as your trainer. Unlike Lillie, however, Gladion will actually return to the Alola Region after one month of real time.

Should you rematch the Pokemon League exactly one month or greater after first defeating it, there is a small chance Gladion will appear to challenge you for your championship throne. Like all the other challengers you could face during a Pokemon League Rematch, all of Gladion Pokemon will almost reach Level 70. But unlike all the other teams you have seen when battling Gladion, he has added a number of strong Pokemon - like Crobat, Porygon-Z and Lurcario - including one of the Kanto Region Starter Pokemon. On top of this, Gladion will even have Zoroark on his team to confuse you with its ability of Illusion, also holding a Z Crystal of its own. If all of that isn’t bad enough, Gladion’s Silvally will be holding the Memory Drive your Starter Pokemon is weak to, thus giving his the typing advantage over it like Professor Kukui. Like all incoming challengers to your championship thrown, expect to use plenty of Healing Items during your battle with Gladion.
