Toughest Battles In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Professor Kukui Pokemon League Battle

Back in Pokemon Sun & Moon, you wouldn’t battle Professor Kukui until after you have defeated the Elite Four, as he was your final foe before becoming the very first Champion of The Alola Region. In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, however, this doesn’t happen. Instead, this time around, Professor Kukui will have no desire whatsoever in being the champion of the Pokemon League he personally created, thus setting up your final battle with your friend Hau. It isn’t until you try to rematch the Pokemon League where you will have the slight chance of being challenged to your very first battle with Professor Kukui. He still will have no desire in becoming champion, but since he loves the art of battling, he will challenge you to see what you’ve got on the battlefield.

Much like Pokemon Sun & Moon, Professor Kukui is still one of the most difficult trainers to defeat. Unlike Hau, Professor Kukui will have the final Starter Pokemon that you and Hau both didn’t choose, the same that has the typing advantage over your given Starter Pokemon. If that isn’t bad enough, his Starter Pokemon will also be holding the Z Crystal your Starter Pokemon is also weak against. Add this to also having the fast and strong Midday Lycanroc and Alolan Ninetales, the defensive attackers of Braviary and Magnezone, as well as the extremely bulky Snorlax, and all reaching virtually Level 70, and you have a great challenge before you. Like all incoming challengers to your championship thrown, expect to use plenty of Healing Items during your battle with Professor Kukui.
