Toughest Battles In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Totem Pokemon Lurantis Battle

Back in Pokemon Sun & Moon, Lurantis was one of the tougher, if not the toughest, Totem Pokemon players were forced to defeat apart of their Island Challenge. Though Lurantis is far from a great Pokemon in terms of the Stats it has, in this battle, Lurantis quickly becomes overpowered. As the battle begins, it will have its Speed increased by one stage, basically assuring it will outspeed just about every Pokemon a player could have by this point in the game. But the real burden within this battle is brought upon by the SOS Pokemon Lurantis calls upon for help, as all of them will begin with the move Sunny Day. Due to Sunny Day, Lurantis’ Solar Blade Attack instantly becomes charged, allowing it to unleash an enormous attack each and every turn. On top of this, Lurantis has the move Synthesis, allowing it to fully heal itself due to the sunlight in play.

Even though this Totem Battle remains virtually the same in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, and though all players that played Pokemon Sun & Moon knew this Pokemon was coming for them, Lurantis remains one of the tougher battles players will face during their second journey of The Alola Region. It may very well not be the most difficult Totem Pokemon to defeat this time around, but Lurantis will still cause trouble to many the unexpected (and expecting) player.
