Toughest Battles In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Totem Pokemon Kommo-o Battle

The third and final Totem Battle that will likely cause you the most trouble in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will more often than not be with Totem Pokemon Kommo-o. Back in Pokemon Sun & Moon, the entire Kommo-o Trial was quite easy. Instead of having to anything too difficult, all a player had to do was defeat each species apart of the Kommo-o Evolution Chain before facing Kommo-o as the Totem Pokemon. Sure, Kommo-o has all of its stats increased in those games as well, but since it was extremely weak to Fairy Type Attacks and because it would only call upon help from its previous evolutions, Kommo-o wasn’t all that difficult to overcome. However, all of that changed in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, and by just a few simply additions to the battle itself, too.

In Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Totem Pokemon Kommo-o will continue to have all of its Stats increased. However, it now will call upon help from Scizor before any of its previous Evolutions. Essentially, this gives Kommo-o one heck of a counter to the Fairy Type Pokemon it is extremely weak to. To makes things all the more difficult, Kommo-o is now holding a berry that will extremely weaken the first Fairy Type Attack that a player can nail it will. This basically allows Kommo-o not one, but two separate attacks (as well as its allies in battle) on your Pokemon, as it will most assuredly be moving first since its Speed Stat is one that will be increased as the battle begins.

Much like Lurantis and Togedemaru, don’t be surprised if you’re using plenty of healing items during your Totem Battle with Kommo-o. Also, don’t be too shocked if it takes you a few attempts in battle to defeat this Totem Pokemon.
