Question for The Sims 3

Ok, I have The Sims 3 Ambitions,Late Night,High End Loft Stuff and World Adventures, all installed in the correct order. I installed them without problems and added a crack file (that I got off the internet) for the base game and all their expansions in their respective folders. I played the game with no problems whatsoever without a CD. But recently, I updated the game, and when I tried to play again, the game loaded to the main menu, then asked me for the Sims 3 Late Night CD. I then proceeded to copy over the CRACK files, but when I tried playing again, the icons in the launcher for the base game and Late Night were grey and the base game said version 0.0.0 or something like that and a message came up saying that the base game was not compatible for the current version of the Sims 3, so please update your game via the game launcher. I really love this game, but I need to play it without the CD because I lost mine and if I re-install it, I would need to use my friend's CD, but I won't be able to keep it to play my game. Can someone PLEASE tell me how I can get around this problem?
