Hope this helps.
This does answer the question of why the sim wont move. That just tells us how to tellaport
If I rememer correctly, it you hold L2 and click on your mailbox then select your sim there should be some sort of option to reset the sim it doesnt actually change everything, just sort of makes them sorta "come back to life" and actually do what it's told to do
I think thats the way to do it..
Does anyone know if the answer above me works? Because I'm having the same problem, and I've reset them, exited the game, and I CANNOT GET THIS FIXED! It's getting to the point where I'm considering restarting my current game(It took me forever and a day to build the house, so you can imagine how upset I'd be if I had to do this entire process again.)
My sim got stuck on the bed with the relaxing action and it had an X over relaxing on the bed so what you have to do is enable the cheats and then click shift and right click on the object and you want to delete the bed and it will force the sim to stand up
Click Shift+ctrl+C and type 'moveobjects on'. Go to Build Mode and move your sim to another place (anywhere, just take him out of where he's stuck)
