my child was kidnapped!

Sims 3 needs to fix that. LOTS and I mean LOTS of people have this problem. With just about anybody, babysiters, neighbors, coworkers, ect. WATCH OUT!

try and find were the baby is and use the cheat "testingcheatsenabled true" just like that then shift click on teh baby and select "add to household" I had to do this when my babysiter took my precious Geoff... then i killed her

Do try this. Press Ctrl Alt C and on the bar that appears type the following code exactly as given below.

CODE- resetsim (first name of your child) (last name of your child)

Example- resetsim Logan Smith

Your sim child/toddler should appear in your lot in a few minutes or so. If it works kill your Kleptomaniac Neighbor so that he/she won't steal your child/toddler again.

you go over and pick up your toddler and take him home if it does not work then push edit town then click on the house circle that is above the house your neighbors live in and split family put the toddler on the clip bored then click on the toddler witch should be on the side of the screen then push place then add him to your family but not the adult you have to add an adult with the toddler

[size=12][color=red][b]You can do tons of things about this, just hold in ctrl shift c and a blue bar will appear at the top of the screen. Type in testingcheatsenabled true and press enter then go to the town map to find your sim. When you find your child hold shift and then click on him/her.Click add to household. But if the sim is already at the side, pick him up and take him home.
If niether work, shift and click anywhere INSIDE your household (AVOIDING objects) And click telport me here. Your sim should be in your house with the baby.
Don't INVITE HIM TO ANY PARTY AGAIN, AVOID HIM AND KKKKIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLL HIMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/size] [/color] [/b]

If you do not look after you're child/baby properly, a social worker will come and visit and take you're baby away so I guess that is what it means... Or otherwise the neighbour is kleptomatic :/

Ctrl shift c, testingcheatsenabled true, right click the kidnapper then click edit Sim in create a Sim and change their traits to good friendly shmoozer good sense of humor and excitable then do what everyone else has Sayyid to get your child back

You can go over the neighbors and then pick the kid up then teleport back home
