In order for your sims to get married, they have to start a Romantic relationship with someone. For example, if your sims repetitively flirts with a sim, they will eventually be a romantic interest. More options will start to Alpert such as armorous hug and amazing massage. At the bottom of the romantic icon there will be an option to propose going steady. Use this and if the other sim doesnt decline they will become your boyfriend/girlfriend. After that option there will be another option at the bottom of the romantic icon that says get married or it will say propose. Use that and POOF! You're married. Hoped that helpped.

I keep going and going but they don't get to be boyfriend/girlfriend, do u have any way that they can like marry faster that usual..?

Thro a party.when it askes you what kind click wedding.the during the party click on bf or gf and click marry.

I did that same thing and it just says that they are engagged and under the romantic icon it just says have privat wedding....how do they have a wedding were everyone is allowed

For them to have a wedding where every one is invited just go to one of your sims and click on them and it will come up with cell phone. Click on cell phone and go down to throw a party and when all the details come up for the party click on the one that says house party and click it down to wedding. And continue till the details have finished. Guest answered:
My sims grew up as babies togeather and they have had the romantic interest since they were teens, they have 2 daughters and are NOT married! I cannot get this to work I've tried everything and the bar is all the way to the top. PLEASE help.

To have a wedding where everyone is invited you must first have a party happening and then at the party under the romantic icon it will say get married voilla

[i][b]just go the the play park and look for things on the ground I found a ruby then place it in your room and click on it and it will say send away then it gets make into a ring and then give it to the other sim this works on Xbox360

I have a female sims courting a male sim that is not my character. I have done what was said above over and over eith the romance options since they became boyfriend/girlfriend and even spent an entire sims "day" doing this. It Never gave me the propose option...the most was whoohoo...ANYONE know how I can get them engaged?...please!!!Guest answered:
You have to do a bunch of romantic things until it lets you propose
