I've just bought and installed the Sims 3 Pets. My Sims games in the past have worked fine, with no problems, but for some reason I cannot get the game to load now I've installed pets. The game is fine up until I choose which save game I want to play, then when I pick which game I want to play, or choose to make a new game, it only loads about half way, then completely freezes. I've tried restarting my laptop, turning it off for a while to cool and then back on and I've tried uninstalling it and installing it again. But I just keep having the same issue.
<BR>I've noticed on google that a few people have been saying they've found Sims 3 Pets to be glitchy and freeze, has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know why it's happening or what I can do?

Yeah I am having the same problems, too and I don't know what to do about it either. Now I cannot play any of Sims 3 anymore! :( How can it be fix?

Yeah, I have that same problem too, accept it lets me play for a bit then it freezes and the only way it'll unfreeze is if I use Ctrl, Alt and Del, it's so annoying especially since I can't start from where I left off!

I'm having a similar problem. I had to reinstall all of the games on my computer so I put the base game and pets on first just so I could see how the pets worked and that ran but the next day I added all the other expansion and stuff packs and now I can't get the game to load. I can get the launcher to open but if I hit the play button to go into the game it tells me that the program is unresponsive. I don't know what to do but it seems like pets won't work with one of the expansion packs for me.

I've been having the same problem as well. I tried talking to someone on live chat from EA, but everything he told me to do didn't work. First thing though, he said to move the EA Download folder or cut/ paste it straight to the desktop then try starting the game again. That didn't work. Then he told me to delete all the cache's and all the things under every thumbnail folder for each expansion. That also didn't work. Now I have a bunch of expansions that I can't play and I feel like I've wasted a ton of money on something that's completely useless! Does anyone else have any ideas for what I can try since I also already deleted every game from the computer and re-installed them all and nothing works still. I've lost all my saved data now and I still can't even get the game to start up properly. :(
