Hi, I have 5 badges. You know when you go right from celadon city and there's that big walk through house; the guy on guard duty doesn't let you in? how and when does he let you in? Does this have anything to do with getting the strength and surf hm's? If so where do you get them?

Get him a Fresh Water, Soda Pop, or Lemonade. They can be obtained at the Cerulean Department Store.

To get through, you have to go to the rooftop square in the Celadon City Department store.

You can only get to the rooftop by climbing the stairs. Once you are there, walk up to one of the vending machines and press A.

Buy fresh water. Then, talk to the guard. He should take the water and let you through!

Go to the Celadon City Department Store and go up to the very top using the stairs and buy a Fresh Water, Soda Pop, or Lemonade and give it to the guard. you can know access Saffron City.

If you have pokemon yellow you go into a big building in celadon and on the first floor talk to the old lady and she gives you some tea.

Go talk to the guard and he will let you through and so will the other guards.
