Could somebody that have beaten brock please tell me what pokemon they used?

ANSWERS

Waht you do is get a pidgey and train it to level 15. Or you can just search for a long time in the forest and eventually you will find a Pigeotto.

Sorry pokefan. I accidently hit bogus thingy on urs. I'm new and got confused.

Sorry ^^ Anyway, I used a butterfree. I caught a caterpie and trained it to evolve into Butterfree.

Now its my strongest pokemon ^^

I caught a monkey and trained it till level 9 so it learned low kick.

I put it at the top of my party and used it to beat Diglett and Sandshrew.

I used it to beat Brock without the use of Pikachu's Tail Whip.

To beat Brock I caught a level 3 Caterpie in the Viridian Forest and trained it to level 7 for a Metapod. When it was level 10 (yes, ten not eleven) it evolved into a Butterfree and it learned Confusion. I beat Junior Trainer with it and that leveled it up to level 12. After, I healed my Pokemon and I defeated Brock's Geodude with 2 Confusions and his Onix with 3 Confusions. That is how to beat Brock.

What you do is get the m and f nidoran. Train it to know double kick. Use both of them on the Pokemon and you will win.

You could get a caterpie and train it into a butterfree and keep training untill it gets absorb.

First go to route 22 and find a mankey then train it until it learns low kick this should be at level 10,11,or 12 then train it three more levels. Bring some potion just in case.

To beat brock I caught a lvl 3 caterpie. Then I trained it to lvl 7 when it evolved into metapod, than I trained it more and it evolved in to butterfree at lvl 10 . Then it learned confusion and I just used that to beat brock. Simple.

I used a pikachu! Train it to level 15 and let it learn quick attack and double team ( as well as thundershock and tail whip).

This may take a while, so fight the kid in Brock`s gym, beat diglett and let sandshrew kill you so you can fight him again!

For Geodude use double team for about four turns.

Then use tail whip and quick attack. For Onix, when he doesn`t use bide use any attack apart from thundershock. When he uses bide, use double team or tail whip.

If you want some back up, capture a metapod( or caterpie), and train it to level ten. ( it evolves into Butterfree and learns confusion)

I tried the Mew cheat and found out that I already fought the youngster, so I restarted!

Try it though, it probably works. I have some questions on Crystal.........

Geodude and onix.onix is the hardest.
