I want to know something else will that Mew trick with capturing an Abra and teleporting then saving then going back up to Nugget Bridge then battling the trainer with the Rattata and Ekans (but not the Slowpoke).....

.....then teleporting and go back to Nugget Bridge and then they said your start menu will pop up and press b and Mew will battle trick work even if that trainer doesn't have a Slowpoke.

And I have been searching routes 24 and 25 for ages and I still can't find an Abra.

They said it works but I can't get it write either. By the way you can find a abra on the route where you come out that long hall on the way to the ciy with the thunder badge.

OK, first of all I want you to know that this does work if done correctly.
First, you have to beat everyone on Nugget bridge. Then you have to go to Bill's house (avoiding as many trainers as possible). Get the S.S. Anne ticket from him, then go back to Cerulean. Go to the house where the police officer was standing in front of the door (she should have moved aside by now). Then you can go on the route south of Cerulean without using cut. This is the place where you can find the abra. OK, you've got the abra, now what? You make it so that you have 5 Pokemon in your party. Then you go up nugget bridge, go left a few spaces so that you are right above the trainer with the rattata and ekans. Then go down one space, but right as you do press the start button so he can see you, but he can't battle you. Go to abra in your party, and use teleport. Then you must go inside the gym and battle the first trainer. Then go up nugget bridge, THATS when your start menu will pop up. Now just press B, and theres mew!

Well actually that trick does work... Yes I am answering my own question okay back to the Mew trick you don't have to battle the first trainer in Misty's Gym.

When you quickly press start leaving an ! On the trainer's head you have to teleport back then (skip battling Misty's first trainer).

Go back up Nugget Bridge and battle the trainer with the Slowpoke then teleport back to Cerulean's Pok'emon Center then go up Nugget Bridge and your start menu will pop up then press B and yes Mew will pop up.

But this trick works with any trainer you battle because I got a level seven Nidoqueen and Mr. Mime, Onix, Mew, (but I didn't catch the level seven Magmar) Basically you can get any pok'emon at level 7 by doing this trick with any trainer you can get different random Pok'emon.

Actually, that doesn't work. If you use the Mew trick with flying away from the gambler, and battling that youngster, then going back to Lavender and exiting west, you get a Nidoqueen. If you use it with the trainer with the Jigglypuff on the way to Mt. Moon, you get Gengar (which normally you can only get by trade). You can get interesting things.

Hmmm. It all depends on the last Pokémon you battled. It's special will determine which Pokémon you run into with the trick. For Mew, you need to battle a Pokémon who's special is 21. That is why the Slowpoke Youngster works. Even wild Pokémon can influence the Pokémon you run into. The way to do this is get a Pokémon and raise it's special to 21, then go and do the long-ranged trainer event (if you don't know what this is then I'll explain it at the end). Use fly and goto and area with ditto's. Battle a Ditto and use the Pokémon with the fixed special and let Ditto use Transform. Beat it and Go back to the long-ranged trainer. The start menu will pop up. Press B and you should be in a battle with a Lv.7 Mew. For different Pokémon use different Special stats. Long-Ranged Trainer Event: When you walk onto a screen and a trainer immediatly notices you. The trainer must be off-screen before you take a step. When you press start in the middle of the step, the menu pops up. When you fly, the trainer event is left hanging uncompleted. When you battle the Pokémon and come back the event is reinstated, causing a battle. The game uses the Special of the last Pokémon you battled to produce the suprise Pokémon.
