I was reading up on all these questions, and seeing a few of you had mew. How do you get mew?

ANSWERS

I know of two ways to get mew. Before going into Cerulean gym catch or trade for an abra. Then go across nugget bridge. To the left is a boy in the grass. Stand directly above him where he can't see you and save. Step down and press START and select abra who uses teleport. Then he will see you but too late, you're teleporting.

This will take you to Cerulean Pokemon center. You can't open your start menu, but that is normal. Go into the gym and battle the guy in the water. Defeat him. Now you can open your start menu. Don't use it. Go back onto nugget bridge. Automatically the start menu will open. Close it and Mew will appear at lvl 7. It is fairly hard to catch so make it sleep or parylyzed to make it easy. NOTE: Do NOT save during the precedure or this will not work.

The other way to get Mew is by catching all other 150 Pokemon and talking to the producer in Celadon mansion.

you have to havea abra. go to nugget bridge. on the left hand side there is a trainer be right in front a him but make him off your screen then take one step forward then hit start right a way the go to abra and teleaport then you have to battle a kid with a slowpoke . Beat him the teleaport again then walk up nugget bridge the start menu will pop up don't save or do anything only hit B then you will enter a battle with a level 7 MEW.
P.S. this cheat does work i did it on my game.

First catch an abra and put it in your party but still leave an extra space. Then go past nugget bridge and on the side youll see a patch of grass with a trainer in it stand one square above the trainers sight and walk down and quickly press start then teleport useing abra and the battle the swimmer in mistys gym or the youngster with the level 14 slowpoke on the way to bills house then go to nugget bridge and the start menu will pop up by itself press b and a level 7 Mew will appear it's pretty easy to catch and grows quickly when mine got to level 77 it only needed about 10,000 exp. Points to go up one level
