I have had to start my Pokemon Yellow again because something went wrong and I have just beaten Brock. My current Pokemon are :
 L14 Pidgey
 L14 Nidoran (Female)
 L13 Nidoran (Male)
 L9 Caterpie
 L13 PIkachu
 Are these good Pokemon?
 Can anybody help me with where to get special items etc?

They can be good Pokemon if you train them so their levels are equal.

Great starter team but level up Caterpie a bit to match the rest of your team. I'd rate it for your position 8/10.

For a beginning team it rocks and I mean that, there's just one single flaw in it, the Lv. 9 Caterpie, it sucks, Caterpies never learn anything beyond Tackle, and String Shot, and Metapods never learn anything beyond Harden, I say you should go back to Viridian Forest and get another Caterpie, this one perferably Lv. 5 or 6, seeing as it evolves at Lv. 7 into Metapod and into Butterfree at Lv. 10, then release your Lv. 9 Caterpie cause that ones useless, it'll just take up storage space.

You could level Caterpie up. Evolve Pidgey and the Nidorans then find 2 moon stones = Nidoqueen and Nidoking!
