Go threw the diglet cave btw if you've gotten the squirtle from that lady in vermilion city after you beat the gym leader Lt. Surge, he's only lv 10 but his water attacks are super affective against the diglets & that whole cave is nothin but diglets & the occasional dugtrio. In fact if you go in there before you battle lt. Surge you can get a lv 29 & I also saw a lv 31 dugtrio once. Which works great against his Raichu. So as I was sayin about squirtle, it's a good way to level him up on the way there and back. Anyway once you get to the end of the diglet cave go over to the left and there will be a bush so use cut, of course. Then you will be kinda inbetween the city where you get the boulderbadge & Viridian forest, btw you might want to have some repel on you. Then once you get threw the forest you will be at route 2, go to the bush & use cut. Then there should be a house if you go up & professor oak's aide should be in there. Talk to him & he'll give you the flash hm if you have caught at least 10 different kinds of Pokemon, which you should have much more than 10 by then. Also, there are some items if you walk down further. I think there is an HP up & Idk, somethin else I can't remember. Anyway there is also tm42 which teaches dream eater, probably good for drowzee or some other Pokemon with sleep attacks. After you put the Pokemon to sleep you use dream eater & it eats their dreams (basically it knocks their ass out lol they faint 1 hit) anyway go down to Viridian city and I think it's to the left of a Pokemon center or poke mart or somethin, there's some water & a guy standing in a small area surrounded by bushes, one of the bushes you can use cut on so do that. Then talk to the guy & he'll say say something like " I had the wierdest dream, that a drowzee ate my dream, wow that's strange how'd this tm get here? Here you take it" then he gives you the tm. Oh yeah & I think there's an easier way to get back to the diglet cave rather than going back threw that annoying Viridian forest, I think if you go back to where professor oak's aide is there's a backdoor or a bush you can cut down that takes you back to the cave. Also, you can get a Mr.Mime from the kid in the house w/ prof. Oak's aide, but only if you trade him a clefairy which isn't really a big deal because you can get another one a
