What way can I get a Mew without a game cheat? And how can I get other legendaries?

ANSWERS

Well the way I got it on Pokemon yellow is you catch an abra or have fly then you walk up the bridge to the north of cerulean city then you walk to the left and start to walk down into the grass, then you hit start right when the trainer down in the grass shows up on the bottom of your screen and hit teleport, an exclamation mark should show up above his head and then you will teleport away back to the pokecenter, when you do this your start menu shouldnt open if you hit it. After that walk back up the bridge and on the way you should find a mew. It only works if you havent beat the trainer in the grass left of the bridge though who you teleport away from.

do not battle the person faceing the house by saffron city or the guy with the level 17 slowpoke.go up to the save at the door.step down, and as fast as you can press start. fly to crulun city and battle the guy with the level 17 slowpoke.after you you win, fly to lavender town head toward saffron your menu should pop up bye its self prees b to exit then you will encouter mew!(during the time you walk up to the guy with the slowpoke your a,b,and start buttens will not work so leve a space in beetweenyou and him
