Is there any possible way, by conventional means, or even by AR or GameShark that I can get rid of an HM I taught to one of my Pokemon? It is killing me that it is just stuck there with no chance of having it removed...

Sadly no.
HM moves are permanent with the Pokemon you "teach" it to.

Once I think I found tht "Move Deleter". Try finding him.
