Campaign Part 2: Dissolution (6 of 7)

Matters are rapidly coming to a head here - Leon's Order mates are pretty upset with us, but the big picture goals are still within our reach!

For this Mission we are headed to Isla Rojo, where our goal is to export Oil at sub-market value in order to achieve our political goals. That means we want to focus heavily on Oil Production - any wells we can tap we should - any offshore drilling we can do? We should!

The recommended settings for this are:

I don't know about you, but the idea of taking down the U.S.S.R. by flooding the world with cheap oil?? I don't know man...

So, the first thing we need to do is make sure that all of our Industry is on track, then make sure that there are no outstanding issues with Happiness that need to be addressed. Once that is managed, we need to make sure our research is on track and in particular that we are on our way to discovering Oil Tech.

Once we have done so we need to begin with building the land-based Oil Well Industry then move on to sea drilling!

Mission 6: Dissolution

Right, so the infrastructure here is nowhere near as advanced as that of the other island - so it is time that we made it so. That means first making all of the industry you have already established work really well - and then start slowly adding new ones.

Remember the biggest issues you will face with industry is having adequate Teamster Support to move the raw resources and finished goods where they need to go.

The interference and sabotage from the KGB is not going to help this situation, and the Rebel attacks that are supported by the KGB will also slow down and hurt progress....

It may be helpful to add a few Barracks in strategic locations...

Final Strategies

You may want to delay starting on fulfilling the Oil quotas until you have your economy and your industries right where you want them, because once you build one (1) land well and two (2) Refineries for off-shore drilling, this Mission will end relatively fast.

That said, it also ends with something of an unexpected result!

If you end this Mission with 100% USA relations - and you should - you will unlock the Achievement United States of Tropico (20G) Finish a game with relations of 100 with the US.
