Isis’ Search for the Coffin

Warning: This Quest involves encountering a LV45 demon called Seth. You have to attempt this far later in the game when your level is around its level. You can attempt this at a lower level but you have to avoid fighting him at all costs.

This is given by a random demon after talking to them a certain number of times. In my case, it was given by a Toubyou in the Counter Demon Base.

Head to Naraku’s 2nd stratum and enter the small room to the northeast. You’ll find Lady Isis there, grieving. The coffin is found in the 4th stratum so head back to the 1st stratum and use the shortcut leading to the 4th stratum. Make your way to the waterfall, past the broken bridge and check the dead end until an exclamation mark appears.

Save your game before examining it. Pick up the sarcophagus and you have to deliver it back to Isis. While you have the sarcophagus with you, you can only select Run or Next. If you take damage, the coffin will take damage as well.

As you make your way to Isis, you’ll notice an aggressive red flying demon. This is Seth and you can avoid him if your level is way below his. Unfortunately, even after defeating Seth, he’ll keep on appearing until you successfully deliver the sarcophagus to Isis.

Note: If ever the sarcophagus is critically damaged, it will be returned to the original place where you found it.

Seth is weak to Ice so use that weakness against him. However, it will be a Challenge since you’re down to three combatants and you have to mind your character’s health as well. He will use Panic Voice and War Cry to put you to a disadvantage. His HP is more or less around 2.2K since I was able to defeat him within two turns with 300+ damage from my ice attacks.

After reaching Isis, the Quest will be complete.
