The Cursed Gauntlet
Client: Hope
Reward: 1000 Macca
Task: Investigate the cursed Gauntlet.
This will require you to fight a tough demon with no weakness so it will be a good idea to grind until you’re at least LV11 and have access to LV11 Demons. When ready, select Mikado Castle from the locations menu then head to the Treasure Room.
The master samurai there will warn you about a possessed gauntlet. Proceed to the task and the summoned demon named Ares will engage you in battle.
LV12 Ares
Resist: Gun
Null: Light, Dark
This demon gets two turns per round. Beware of its Fatal Sword attack; it deals over 100 damage, enough to instantly take out any demon with low HP. Sometimes, it also buffs itself and will attack with Fatal Sword. It also has Counter which deals considerable damage. It only has around 596 HP so this battle shouldn’t drag too long. Use buffs and debuffs whenever you can. Landing critical hits is the only way to get extra turns.
After the battle, the demon will acknowledge your strength and leave the gauntlet. Challenge complete!
