Power Bomb Search

Walkthrough: From the Energy Recharge Station you came across earlier in Area 6, start climbing down the hole you find. You should come to another Save Station, as well as a Missile Expansion if you Bomb the wall to the left. Continue going down this path to find an Ammo Recharge, eventually using your Spider Ball up to the ceiling and then Bombing the weak spot to find yet another Missile Expansion. Pass the Teleportation Statue to find a third Missile Expansion. Continue on from there and use your Screw Attack up into the next room, and then head into the maze. Turn on your Lightning Armor, complete the puzzle to reach the Aeion Tank, and then continue upward.

Take the first left you see from there, as the other paths lead to dead ends, and you'll finally be thrown into battle with Boss Diggernaut. Unlike the first time you came across it, you will not be able to run this time around. It's also the hardest creature you will have faced up to this point in the game, being so much more difficult than the Mechanical Monster you face a little earlier in the game. After defeating Diggernaut, you will earn the Power Bomb. Use it on your left to destroy the remains of Diggernaut. From there, go left and use your Power Bomb at the top of the room in order the remove the yellow barrier from the door you come to. There will be a Power Bomb Tank in this room. Continue to the connecting room, pull on both red orbs to make it to the elevator that brings you to Area 7.

Missile Expansion #1: After draining the second pool of purple lava, Bomb the wall to the left of the Save Station. Activate your Phase Drift before going over the breakable floor, leading you to the Expansion.

Missile Expansion #2: Spider Ball up the ceiling near the Ammo Recharge Station. Bomb the weak spot you reach in order to obtain the Expansion.

Missile Expansion #3: After passing the Teleportation Statue, activate your Phase Drift and run across the breakable floors. When you reach the wall on the other side, place a Bomb and quickly Spider Ball up that wall. After the Bomb explodes, the Expansion can be obtained.

Aeion Tank: After completing the puzzle, head to the top right corner of the blocked passageway you are brought to. Bomb that corner and then use this path to find and pull on the red orb at the bottom. From there, Bomb the weak spot on the left, and then quickly shoot a Missile at the second red orb. Crawl inside, pull the orb, and then return to the previous room to get the Aeion Tank.

Power Bomb Tank: After defeating Diggernaut, enter the following room. Roll into a ball and place yourself below the opening above. Set a Power Bomb and literally let it blast you all the way to the top. Once it does, use your Spider Ball to cling to the ceiling and reach the Tank.
