How To Defeat Zeta Metroids

Thank you for printing this page from www.SuperCheats.com. Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Metroid: Samus Returns

Added:

The next strongest Evolution of Metroid to that of Gamma Metroids are Zeta Metroids. These Metroids cannot fly; however, they can crawl on the ground, walls and ceilings. Zeta Metroids are very weak to shots to the gut, but since you won't see many openings here with it crawling all around, its head is the next best thing.

When they're on the ground, Zeta Metroids love to spit fire at Samus. These can easily be jumped, and, oddly enough, this is when it's best to attack this thing. (When avoiding the fire, shoot Missiles down toward the Metroid.) Zeta Metroids will also lunge at Samus when on the ground, which is easy to tell is about happen as it too backs up first. These can also be avoided by a perfectly-timed jump. If the Zeta Metroid approaches and stops with no fire attack, Counter it right before its mouth starts to flash. Finally, when on the ground, Zeta Metroids can also attack with green fireballs, shooting three in a row when it does. They are quick, so do a Space Jump to avoid getting hit.

When crawling on the walls or ceiling, Zeta Metroids will unleash even more green fireballs, this time five of them in an arch-fashion. On top of that, these ones will bounce around the room you are in. You'll have to do your best to dodge them, as they will be coming from all different directions. While it's on the ceiling, it will have a red dot on the tip of its back. Use your Grapple Beam to grab hold of it, and then send it back to the earth. After it hits the ground, it will be unresponsive for a number of moments, giving you the opportunity to unleash your best attacks to its abdomen.

The quicker you defeat Zeta Metroids, the better Samus' health will be. Just keep firing at its head and abdomen when you have the chance to, no matter if you're shooting Missiles or Ice Beams.
