After opening a door, you can actually charge an attack as you run through it. This will give you a fully-charged attack when you come out on the other end, readying you for any opponent lurking nearby. If that's not enough, you can keep your charged attack while holding onto a ledge, as well as being able to charge an unchagred attack while you are holding onto a ledge.
