Introduction

Horizon Forbidden West takes place six months after the major battle of Meridian in the first game. Players follow Aloy as she sets out on a journey to find a solution to a mysterious disease in the form of a red blight creeping across the land, slowly poisoning and killing fauna, flora, and humans. Her journey takes her to the titular Forbidden West where faces a vast array of old and new machines, hostile and friendly tribes, and a diverse range of biomes ranging from dry deserts, lush forests, freezing tundras, tropical beaches, and more. line
