FM6 Badges

In addition leveling up a Badge will unlock the following Achievements:

• Bronzed (10G) Equip a Bronze Level Badge

• Digging Gold (25G) Equip a Gold level Badge.

• Going Platinum (40G) Equip a Platinum level Badge.

• Smooth Silver (15G) Equip a Silver level Badge.

As with the previous games in the series, Forza 6 includes a very wide selection of both Badges (icons with which you can customize your driver's presence in the lobby lists) as well as titles that can be used to express the joie de vivre or attitude of your driver/character.

The following are the Badges and Titles that are available to be unlocked in the game, each of which is unlocked for completing a special task or action:

These are read from left-to-right, top row then bottom. We substitute "X" for the target numbers for each task as the point here is not so much to tell you what each target number is but rather what the point to that particular Badge Challenge is, as THAT is the important information :)

Completing each Badge Challenge provides you with another special Icon that you can use to customize your Racing Avatar, which in turn helps you to stand out in the crowds in the MP lobbies. You want to stand out, because you want the members of established (though unofficial) Car Clubs to notice you in the hopes that they will invite you to become a member.

The more social driving groups that you belong to the better, as it means you will find partners for racing easier and easier.

Note: Badge Challenges are basically the defacto Collection Scheme in Forza Motorsport 6. Just so you know.

Going Platinum - Unlocking a Platinum Badge

When the wizards at Turn 10 began to create the Badge and Titles scheme for FM6 they clearly adopted a new and different approach over the scheme used in previous games in the series. This time, in place of quantity, they opted to focus upon the quality of the experiences, and it shows!

What that means tho is you need to pay attention to the conditions - as you will find that despite the more refined focus, these Badges and their Titles are actually easier to obtain and unlock thanks to the fact that in place of the traditional "Win" condition, they instead placed emphasis upon "Complete" for these events.

Just saying, that is progress of a sort that Richard Hammond and James May would love, but Jeremy Clarkson would absolutely despise..

Conclusions

It is fairly obvious that the Titles and Badges portion of the tremendous number of unlockable collection objects within the game is, if not intended to be so, very likely to be the last element of the collection items in the game that the player is likely to complete.
