As the manager of one of the numerous clubs found in Football Manager 2017, you will also be responsible with hiring all the staffing positions apart of your team. Accessible on your dashboard in the main profile page in Career Mode, you can take a look at the current staffing you have on your team. This includes the members of your Coaching Team, Medical Team and Scouting Team. You will also be able to sign and release staff members here, as well as designate the responsibilities for each crew member of each given staff team.

Within this season of Football Manager, two additional staffing positions have been introduced. The first is the Data Analyst, an employee that further assists the Scouting Team by analyzing all the information that is being taken in on prospects. The next is a Sport Scientist, an individual that will aid your Medical Staff by providing knowledge on how the body works to better the health of your Players.

Assembling a strong backroom team is crucial in getting the most out of your team, from each player's health to their performance on the field. A manager can't do everything, but with the right staffing done on your part, you'll be able to rest easy as you focus on what happens on the field.
