Unlike many other simulation-based sports video games or modes, Football Manager 2017 truly takes things to a whole different level. There is no game that is as conceptually in-depth as FM17; not in the sports genre department, really no where in the entire video game industry. From all the different duties and resources for your manager - overseeing Scouting and Medical Teams, developing both Players and Management, being accountable for Finances and Transfers - there is no video game on the open market that has as realistic of an approach to a specific job than Football Manager 2017. It honestly is the closest thing to doing the job for real.
But with great success comes great responsibility, since you, as the manager, will be in charge of virtually every single department and aspect of your Ball Club. It's a lot to take in at first, some may even say it's too overwhelming, but the best thing any player can do is stick with it, paying close attention to all details. If you don't lose track of your Club outside your scheming during practice and your team's performance on the field, you should fare well in your career and go far. You don't need to constantly be overlooking these other areas of your team, as you have plenty of Staff members that are there to help you along the way. Hold on loosely, play an active role and pay attention to things as they unfold, and you'll be one step closer to leading your team to bigger and better accomplishments.
