As each match is being played before you very eyes, a good manager should watch how their Tactics and coaching are being implemented on the field of play. Whether your team is successful or are failing miserably, the field is where a manager will be able to take note on where his team can improve.

By following the ten tips below during any given match, a manager can help his ten soar when competing where it matters most:

1) Adjust your settings for optimal coverage. We recommend using the 2D Camera, Comprehensive Highlights and a (maximum) 75% Match Speed, allowing you to better see anything and everything that happens on the field.

2) Constantly monitor your Players. This includes Body Language, Physical Condition and Morale, and it can be checked at any time by opening the respective widgets or by clicking on the Team Talk Button.

3) Keep a close eye on how your Players are positioned immediately after losing a possession. By doing this, you can see what formations work and fail for different situations and areas of the pitch.

4) Watch how your Players react after losing a possession. This could easily show if you are outnumbered or not.

5) See how your defenders anticipate and position themselves for the offside trap. If they seem to fail more often than not, you may need to go bad to the drawing board where your scheming is concerned.

6) Take notice on the distant between each compartment on your team. Make sure your Players are doing exactly as you instruct on Defense, Attack and Midfield.

7) Stay aware on the passing options your Players have throughout the match. Make sure each player is making the best pass possible, such as a free man, someone trying to beat the offside trap, someone coming short, or someone waiting for a cross.

8) Watch your Players footing when in a good crossing or finishing situation. If your players are often caught on their weak foot during these scenarios, more coaching in this area will need to take place.

9) Spot where and how your attacks end and how the opposing team penetrates your defense. Every match is about scoring the most goals and giving up the least amount of such, but if you're having problems on either end, you will need to watch for yourself where the misconception is happening.

10) Figure out why your crosses failed. Whether because the passer's poor ability to deliver the ball or because the receiver had either poor anticipation or speed, you will need to fix since with these given individuals.
