Don't Rely Heavily On The Mentalities

The Football Manager Series introduced the mentalities of a team to simplify the game and make things a little more realistic; however, relying directly on these should never be done based upon your opponent alone. Instead, it would be much wiser to based the mentalities of your team on the Players you have, and more so the formation you are choosing to run with them. If your team isn't built for a given mentality or if your players simply don't have the given strengths to run one to the next, it probably isn't a good idea to run one that your team will struggle implementing on the field just because the other team has difficulties cover that given type.
