Board of Directors

Like previous versions of Football Manager, the Board of Directors make a return in the latest version of FM17. In the simplest of senses, the Board is the group of individuals that are above you in the organization you are apart of. To put it lightly, these select few are none other than your bosses, and they are the ones that will constantly be reviewing your success and failures during your tenure with the club.

On the main screen of FM17, you can take a look at the Board's thoughts of you at anytime by clicking on the Board Icon to the left (near the bottom of all the different icons and sources available to you and at your very disposal). On the main overview of Board's page, you can see there confidence in you as a manager and many other areas of your managerial prowess. You can even dive into selective categories by clicking on other options at the top of the page. With these resources, you can view the current Board of Directors at your ball club. You can even view the Board's overall confidence in you and your current Job Security with them, their thoughts on the Club's issues and how you are handling them, their comments with the performance of your team compared to the competition and in each match specifically, and how they feel about the transfer market and your activity in such.

If you're successful in leading your team to glory, the Board will love you and your managerial Tactics; however, if you have trouble leading your team to the promise land of League Championships, the Board will be quick to turn on you and won't think twice about replacing you. So always be careful not to over-promise the Board, as they won't be ones to forget it and your words will quickly be used against you.
