Top Ten Kalos Pokemon That Should Have A Mega Evolution

#6 - Sylveon

We can't help but include yet another Eeveelution in these rankings, as we usually do with this genre of articles. And Sylveon is no exception. We know it probably will never happen, as the creators would most likely have to give a Mega Evolution to all the Eeveelutions if they gave one to just one, and that could be enough of incentive to never do such a thing. They would probably also have to give one to Eevee or a Normal Evolution (if it eve has one), which just adds to the grand total.

Sylveon is a good Pokemon and all, but even it would tell you it needs a Mega Evolution. It has a terrible defense stat, where just one Poison Jab or Physical Steel Type Move could One-Hit KO it. Shoot, even a powerful enough STAB Physical Attack that it isn't weak to could probably put in on the shelf. It has incredible Special Abilities, on both the offensive and defensive side of the coin, but its that glaring weakness that just sees it not getting anywhere in Pokemon.

As an Mega Eeveelution, we see Sylveon getting a complete overhaul of what it is known for, but it would still keep Pixilate for an ability. From there we imagine it getting a huge boost to its Speed, getting it right up there with counterparts Espeon and Jolteon. We even see it getting smaller but still relevant boosts to BOTH of its defensive stats and its Special Attack. It might need to take away from its already mediocre Attack Stat, but that wouldn't hurt it at all.

Sylveon would be an agile attacking threat with enough bulk to within a few blows, at least on the Special Defensive side. It's defense still wouldn't be as good as some other Pokemon, but it could see it take at least one shot.
